About Me	Damn! You do this shit too? These are a few of my favorite things..... ~my daughter's smile, laugh, and innocence ~those two weeks in May when the smell of lilacs fills my home ~pitching a tent ~the smell of day-old campfire on my clothes ~that semi-nauseous butterfly feeling right before the first kiss ~the sound of waves crashing against the shoreline and pulling stones back into the ocean ~random acts of kindness from an absolute stranger ~cold sand beneath my toes at the end of a hot day ~when your feet meet with theirs under the covers ~finding ways to tell someone "I love you" without SAYING a word ~laughing until my jaw and stomach hurt ~a cryptic message that only the sender/receiver and I understand ~that first day in spring when I get to wear my legs and toes out ~"cathartic" cleaning ~seeing someone's eyes smile ~that first REAL day of summer ~riding my bike with no hands ~wrapping my neck up in a warm, soft scarf on a cold day ~when you can pinpoint the exact second your life has changed forever ~skinny dipping at night somewhere that I'm not supposed to be ~when you round that corner and get the first glimpse of the final destination ~not wanting to go to sleep for fear of missing a single second with THAT person ~dancing drunk in the middle of the dance floor surrounded by the women I love (+putting any guy in check that thinks HE can touch one of them) ~sitting on the top deck of the ferry (no matter the season) to smell the salty air after spending any more than a week away from this spectacular island ~putting in the last piece of the puzzle ~saving the best bite for last ~those few seconds that you are in the air while four wheeling when you begin to question if the tires will ever touch the ground again ~when a completely unplanned day goes absolutely perfect ~when the exact song that I needed to hear at that very second comes on the radio ~managing to capture a moment exactly the way it felt, with a picture ~when someone lets you know that they truly appreciate the thought and effort you put in for them ~the feeling of accomplishing something that you never thought you could ~when someone surprises you (not by jumping out and screaming, but with their true character) ~that no matter how dysfunctional I think my family is, we will ALWAYS come through for each other when we need it ~that feeling I get when a song or piece of music manages to reach all the way to my soul ~choosing the 'hard way' and still making it to the finish line ~the first time I get to put that "lesson learned" to good use ~when I call a friend to discuss a problem and they say EXACTLY what I needed to be told out loud ~knowing that something I said has ...(read more)
