About	Bud "Buddy" Becker, 66 28 Aug 1947 - 16 Jul 2014 Marion L Steele High School - Class of 1965 "HURON – Bud "Buddy" Becker, age 66, of Huron, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2014 at Stein Hospice surrounded by family. Born August 28, 1947 in Vancouver, Washington, Bud was raised in the Amherst/South Amherst area and graduated from M.L. Steele High School in 1965. Bud was proud of his military service in Vietnam. From 1969 to 1970 he served as a young officer with MACV Team 45 where he was active in military and paramilitary operations. Although he received various awards and medals while serving his country, the two he held dearest were the Parachutist Badge and the Combat Infantryman's Badge. Upon separation from the Army, Bud returned to Lorain County where he was employed in the automobile business until he became disabled in 1995. Bud was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans of America. He enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his wife Carol Becker, sons Bruce and Eric, of KY, and daughter Samantha Adkins, also of KY. In addition he leaves behind four grandchildren, Josef Willis, Korey Adkins, Tjaden Adkins, and Makayla Becker, and a brother Russ (Nancy) Becker, of Berlin Heights. He was preceded in death by his wife Ramona (Grills) Becker in 2010, his father Bud Becker in 2009, and his mother Dorothy (Carstensen) Becker in 2011.
