About	Michael J. Savulak 12 Apr 1956 - 12 Dec 2013 Marion L Steele H S. - Class of 1974 "PORT CLINTON - Michael J. Savulak, age 57, of Port Clinton, Ohio, sailed away to Heaven on December 12, 2013 after a battle with cancer. Born April 12, 1956, Michael loved to travel, sail and was very adventurous having lived in Amherst, Maine, Colorado, Vermillion, Wakeman, and finally Port Clinton. He lived life to the fullest and loved spending time on Kelleys Island. Born in Lorain, Ohio, Michael was a 1974 Graduate of Marion L. Steele (Amherst, Ohio). Michael went on to achieve a 1979 Journalism award from LCCC. Michael was a self-employed entrepreneur. He was, currently, the Managing Member of Savulak Builders, LLC and Leisure World Vacation Rentals, LLC. He and his wife, Paula, also owned and operated Tesota Trading in Colorado for a number of years before spending 5 years on the jewelry show circuit. Michael is survived by his companion of 7 ½ years, Debbie Henderson (nee Flynn) of Port Clinton, Ohio; his mother, Dorothy Belzer (nee Dobrosky) of Clearwater, Fla.; Sisters, Patti Deneweth and Leanne Savulak both of Clearwater, Fla.; brothers, Tom (Denise) Savulak and Mark (Louisa) Savulak both of Port Orange, Fla.; and nieces, Briana and Bianca Savulak of Port Orange, Fla. Michael is preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Paula J. Kerecz-Savulak (2006); his father, Michael Savulak, Jr. (2011); his nephew, Brandon Savulak and niece, Faith Savulak. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain where funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Carl Woodyard will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain. The family encourages memorial contributions to either the Stein Hospice, the Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County, or the Cleveland Clinic."
