About	Diane Ruth nee Eddy Squires, 60 19 Sep 1952 - 20 Aug 2012 Marion L Steele- Class of 1970 "Diane Ruth Squires (nee Eddy) went home to be with the Lord on August 20, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Diane was born September 19, 1952 and graduated from Marion L. Steele High School in 1970. She also attended Lorain Community College. Diane was active in stage and drama for many years. She lived in Geauga County in the heart of Amish Country where she enjoyed nature, gardening, flowers and the open country roads. She had a special fondness for the Amish and their way of life. Diane loved animals and rescued many of her pets. Diane is survived by her mother, Alberta Eddy of Amherst, sisters Darlene Gilgenbach of Wakeman and Carol May of Huntington Beach, California, nephew Matthew Gilgenbach, niece Jori Gilgenbach, and a great niece Jasmine and a great nephew Christian. Diane was preceded in death by her daughter Bethany Rae Squires and her father, Bennie L. Eddy. There will be a celebration of Diane's life on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Amherst Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 396 Park Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at any Fifth Third Bank in Memory of Diane Eddy Squires or to the animal (rescue) shelter of your choice.
