About	Laura J nee Moody Schumaker, 80 12 Feb 1930 - 3 Jan 2011 Amherst High School Graduate, Class of 1948 (Yearbook of 1947, shows Laura's picture listed as a Junior in 1947) "LORAIN - Laura J. Schumaker (nee Moody), 80, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011 at Mercy Regional Medical Center, Lorain. Laura was born in Amherst, Ohio on February 12, 1930 to her parents, Allen and Fayona (nee: Nutter) Moody. She graduated from Amherst High School and went on to Lorain Business College. Laura married Robert Schumaker on August 21, 1953. She worked at Troxel, Lorain Phone Co. and worked in bookkeeping/payroll for Comet Management and Majestic Molding and was involved in Real Estate and Real Estate Appraising. Laura was a member of the Lorain Senior Center where she enjoyed volunteering and also enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years of marriage, Robert W. Schumaker; two daughters, Susan (Mark) Boyle and Nancy (Paul) Wise; and son, David (Gail) Schumaker She is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Fayona Moody. The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, (440)244-1961 on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 12:00 PM. Interment Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
