About	14 Apr 1958 - 28 Sep 2010 MLS Class of 1976 "Laurie P. George AMHERST - Laurie P. George, 52, of Amherst, died Tuesday September 28, 2010 at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born April 14, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan and had resided in the Amherst and Elyria areas for the past 40 years. Laurie worked as a medical secretary at the Oberlin Clinic for 14 years. Prior to that she had worked at Guilford Enterprises in Oberlin. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Amherst, the American Legion Post #118 Ladies Auxiliary in Amherst and the Amherst Eagles Club. Laurie enjoyed playing golf, flower gardening, antiques and crafts. She was an avid Cleveland Browns and Detroit Tigers fan. She is survived by her husband of 25 years Les, daughter Danielle Jolly of Perry, step-daughters Traci George of Lorain and Kellye George of Rocky River, twin grandsons Chase and Spencer Jolley, grandson Kieran DiNicola, stepgrandchildren Taylor Gonos and Ethan George, mother Patricia Rein (nee Molyneaux) of Amherst, sisters & brothers Deborah Rein of Los Angeles, CA, Jeffrey Rein, Terri Dziak and Timothy Rein, all of Amherst and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Rein in 2006. The family will receive friends Friday 3-8 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 115 Central Drive, Amherst. Please meet at the church. The Rev. Terrence Adamson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
