Bill McGarvey..Class of 1950

A quick note for those who may now have heard. Bill passed away in February, hours before his birthday. He has lived in Maryland the past few years. He was a graduate of the class of 1950, salutatorian of our class, and to those of us in that class we remember his as also a good athlete... a real "buddy" of Coach Neff !!!. He was very fond of Bill Burns ariticles and always appreciated articles of interest I sent him from 84 the Catskill Mt. News. God Bless You, Bill...may you rest in peace. We lose another great icon.

It is with great sadness that I share the news to everyone who uses this site the passing on of another great icon of our faculty. Marian Connell went to, as Gordon put it, the "great faculty lounge in the sky". Many of have fond memories of Marian as our mentor in science class, either trying to figure out which chemicals to mix together, or disecting that frog. Our thaughts are with her surviving family members.
