Classmates - I received confirmation of the $1500 donation from our class to MHS. The activities director asked how we wanted to disburse the donation so I made the executive decision to donate $1000 in 4 scholarships of $250 each for seniors. Requirements will be a 3.0 GPA or higher, participation in at least one activity or sport, teacher recommendation and no referrals. The scholarship can be applied to any post-secondary learning - community college, university, trade school, etc. The remaining $500 will be donated to the general activities fund to promote student engagement. When I was 2012 class sponsor, money was always tight so we had numerous fundraising events by students.
I know that the students and MHS greatly appreciate the generosity of 1974 class.

August 29 - Last day for online ticket sales!
120 tickets have been sold as of today! August 29 is the last day to purchase online tickets. Manzano 50th Reunion Photos
In an effort to reduce costs, we have not hired a professional photographer for the reunion. For the 40th, attendees emailed me their reunion photos if they wanted inclusion in a slide show. We will create a slide show for the 50th. 1. Email photos to me via mhsdouglascairns74@gmail.com
2. Grant me permission to use those photos.
3. A slide show will be created. I will post the slide show on the FB MHS page. (If you are not in the FB group, let me know in your email and I will send to you directly. This information will also be provided to attendees at check-in.
