Dr. T. Wayne Phillips
Class of 1965
After graduating MCHS, Wayne Phillips went on to Tennessee Temple University at Chattanooga where he earned his BA in History and Psychology. He then attended Temple Baptist Theological Seminary and earned his Masters in Religious Education, Bachelor of Divinity and Doctorate in Religious Education. He pastored several churches, and was professor of Christian Education at Emmanuel College in Franklin Springs, GA. In 1997 to the present, Dr. Phillips and his wife, Kathryn have served as Missionary Church planters in the Great American West. They built Gateway Baptist Church where they presently reside in Sundance, Wyoming.
