Joined Army in '91. Did basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC summer of '92. Advanced Individual Training conducted in Ft. Belvoire, VA as a generator mechanic - quickly discovered that generators always break down at 2:00 AM and volunteered to become a maintenance clerk. Stationed in Ft. Lewis, WA, 864th Engineer Battallion until Dec. '94. During that time participated in extended trips to AZ to help construct fences for U.S. Border Patrol and Honduras to assist in the construction of schools for some of the poorer villages. Earned Army Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service. Joined Ohio National Guard - 211th Maintenance Co.(DS) in Newark, OH from '95 - '97 where clerk training was "officially" completed.

Our Madison Comprehensive High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
