Assigned to the Strategic Air Command stationed at Plattsburgh Air Force Base, Plattsburgh, New York. Served as a Sargent in the 380th Security Police Squadron as a patrol officer and the NCOIC of Base Sercuity Clearances.

Enlisted 1965. Attended Officers Candidate School at Ft. Benning graduating in Mar 67 as 2LT. Served as Platoon Leader and MAT Team Commander in Vietnam in 67-68. Received Purple Heart and Combat Infantry Badge. Continued to serve in various assignment around the world for 33 years until retirement in 1998.
