After retirement I worked in the civilian sector as a retail/wholesales person, Shipping & Receiving Supervisor and warehouse supervisor. I am now permanently retired and enjoying my Grandchildren (5).

I enlisted in the US Army after completing high school in 1984 as Medic in the US Army Reserves and was assigned to the 323rd General Hospital in Southfield, MI. I transferred to Active Duty in 1986 and reclassified in the engineering breach. in 1996 I completed Ranger training and was assigned to the US Army’s Special Operations Command where I served the remainder of my military career. My station of assignments included Presidio of San Francisco, CA, Camp Humphrey’s South Korea, Fort Lewis, WA, Schofield Barracks, HI and Fort Bragg, NC. I served five combat tours: One tour in Dessert Shield and Storm in Saudi Arabia (1990), two tours in Afghanistan (2001 & 2004), one tour in Iraq (2003) and two tours in the Republic of the Philippines (2007 & 2008). I retired from the US Army in the fall of 2009. I currently work for the US Department of Defense as a instructor of military science.
