Retired Chief Petty Officer (E7) Served on two nuclear powered fast attack submarines during the Cold War. Operated and maintained the nuclear reactor as a reactor operator. Instructor for the Navy Electronic Technician teaching troubleshooting and repair of submarine radar. Home ports: Charleston, SC and Groton, CT. Deployments to the north Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Caribbean.

1st Field Force; lst Logistical Command/Vietnam. Served as Chief, programming for Supreme Allied Cmdr Atlantic,( NATO) for four years 1973-1977. Served with Army Training Board. Retired 31 Dec 1982 as Colonel, O-6., from HQ, Fifth U.S. Army. 31+ years service.
