Enrolled in the delayed entree program in 1988. Attended bootcamp in San Diego, CA. Aviation Structural school in Millington, TN. Spent all 20 years of his military career serving out of NAS North Island in San Diego, CA.
Served in countles military operations to include, Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Southern Watch and Iraqi Freedom.
Ended his military career with his brother Hector, both serving at HSC-3 where they both retired together.
Raul is married to his high school sweetheart, Ivania Organista (Ayala). Both created the 1989 Lynwood High School year book.
Happily married over 20 years, have a son at UCR (Damian) and a daughter in high school (Brianna) and live in Temecula, CA.
Still have the pleasure to keep in touch with several Lynwood long time friends like Omar Santos, Juan Lopez, Mark Maples, Kenny Randall, Alfred Moore, Marcus Law and Vivian Delharo to name a few.

Field Artillery with Foxtrot 2nd Battalion 12th Marines. Traveled through out the Pacific on various operations ending up in the Desert Shield/Deserst Storm conflict in the Gulf. During which Fox Btry 2/12 assisted Marines in the battle of Kahfji and occasional Artillery Raids in search of SCUD Missiles, pre Desert Storm. During Desert Storm Fox Btry 2/12 attatched to 1st Mar Div/also known as Task Force Ripper, pushed the Iraqi forces through the middle of Kuwait at the same time securing the Coast of Kuwait along the way with the help of Coalition forces. It only took 3 days to secure Kuwait.

Our Lynwood High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done!
