I spent 3 1/2 years on the USS Coral Sea (CVA-43 ) .
My duty were fire fighter on the flight deck. 3 tours off the coast of Vietnam. Got out Sept. 8, 1972, then there was 2 year of non-duty or unactive in the Navy.

I'm still in. Currently precommissioning USS SOMERSET LPD-25 in New Orleans. I've been station at CID UNIT CORRY STATION in Pensacola. USS TARAWA LHA-1, USS Coronado AGF-11, and USS Curts FFG-38 all in San Diego, and NCTAMSLANT DET GTMO in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
