National Guard, 8 Years
I was in the Texas Army National Guard. I went to Ft. Dix, NJ for basic, then went to Ft. Lee, Va for IAT. Was at Camp Mabry in Austin from 1984 to 1986. Transfered to the 249th Sig. Bn. in Dallas. Was there from 1986 to 1989. Then transfered to Aviation. Was the maintince clerk. Was with the Aviation until 1990. Then I went back 1998 - 1999, was a driver. My rank was Spec. 4.

Enlisted in th US Army in 1984. Attended basic training at Fort Knox, KY. CONUS locations served: Fort's Hood, TX, Bliss, TX, Sam Houston, TX, and Riley, KS. OCONUS locations served: Germany and twice to Korea. Combat tours: Iraq: 2004-2005 and 2007-2009. Currently at Fort Hood, TX and will be retiring after 26-years+ of faithful service as a United States Army Sergeant Major.
