Dana graduated from LHS and went on to attend Chabot College and later University of Oregon. At OU he met the love of his life, Ida. They were married in 1965 and were together for 56 years. Dana spent his career as a computer technician working for various companies including IBM and Memorex. He and Ida, who was a professional chef, lived in the SF Bay Area, Raleigh, NC, and Tulsa, OK. They retired to Tacoma, WA where they enjoyed exploring the city and the great views of Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier. Ida followed in death in 2024.
