| About Me | Donna & I have been attending and have become members of Destiny Worship Center. There are currently three campuses, the lead one is in Destin. The others are in Freeport and Crestview, the one we normally attend (we occasionally go to the Destin church; Diana has been attending there since moving to Destin). For the first 2 years we were just going to services and helping out a little, then I was an usher for about 6 months. Then just a couple of months ago, we were asked to be in charge of Destiny Kids (K - 5th for the Crestview Campus) right after that we were asked to run the VBS! In less than two weeks, with some great help, we got it accomplished and it turned out great! I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary (Jan 3, 2011) with my wonderful wife. I have three great children, who are now adults (and have been for a few years) and two fantastic grandchildren. I love them all very much. I have been trying to be a strong man of God for the last 13 years. It's been a bit of a roller coaster, high points and low points. I had the opportunity to run Children's Church services for a couple of years and also ran a local children's outreach ministry for three years. I then was able to preach to a small congregation off and on for a period of time. Things I care about; God, family, friends, ministry, country, job, sports. Keep our country's leaders in your prayers as we face a very uncertain future. Sports: Baseball, Softball, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Tennis, Soccer & Bowling are the sports I'm most interested in. Music: I enjoy Contemporary Christian Music (CCM)! Artists like; Jeff Deyo, Michael W. Smith, Jaci Velasquez, Third Day, Casting Crowns, & Steven Curtis Chapman are among my favorites. I also enjoy listening to some 50's, 60's & 80's music occasionally. Television: Other than watching Yankees' baseball, NY Giants football, Nets basketball, Islanders hockey & any game Notre Dame plays, I like watching most of the law and cops shows. NCIS, all the Law & Orders, CSIs, & Without A Trace being my favorites. I also like SCI-FI shows like Smallville, and all the Stargates. Books: The Bible, This Present Darkness, Piercing The Darkness, The Man In The Mirror, Bold Fresh, and Broke. Heroes: Jesus Christ, Godly men & women, all honorable men & women in the military, police departments & fire departments, teachers. Who I'd like to meet: Jesse Duplantis.
