Served in the following submarines: USS HOUSTON (SSN 713), USS SPADEFISH (SSN 668), USS SALT LAKE CITY (SSN 716), USS FLORIDA (SSBN 728)(BLUE) and commanded USS ATLANTA (SSN 712). Earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1999. Retired from active duty in December 2008. Currently employed by Commander, Submarine Force Atlantic as the Deputy Director for Maintenance and Material Readiness, responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and operations of 37 nuclear powered submarines.
