Kevin Mannix was the "Boss" or the flight leader and commanding officer of the elite flight demonstration Squadron for the US Navy Blue Angels of 2007-2008. Kevin not only demonstrates great flying, but also demonstrates the meaning of what it is to be a great American and role model. He has inspired me to never doubt my dreams and never be afraid to take a leap of faith as he states "This is something I thought would be totally unattainable." "...they don't pick guys like me..." When I shook his hand at the Smyrna Tennesse airshow in 2007 it was an unforgettable experience. I felt total admiration for him. Although what he does is is very challenging in many ways, he never forgot to look you straight in the eyes, express his apprieciation for your support, and be himself.
He truely cares about his fans, fellow Americans, his sailors, and the children that aspire to grow up and follow his path.

Kevin Mannix is one of my greatest role models and it was an honor to meet him.
