Gallant (MSO-489) Homeport: Treasure Island, California.The last all wooden ship in the Navy I was a diesel mechanic, aft engineroom supervisor, fire fighter, & flood control team. Also stationed at SIMA Ingleside, Tx. as a high pressure pipe welder and worked as assitant weld shop supervisor. Rank Petty Officer 2nd Class(E-5)
