Richard loved playing intramural football and basketball and sitting at his favorite hall guard post. He went to work for Illinois Bell, Lucent and Regent Park telecoms as a commercial PBX installer. He always had time for his animals and going fishing. Married over 50 years, he and wife Barbara (Turk) raised 3 children who blessed him with 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Family was his number one priority and dancing at his grand daughters wedding was one of his fondest memories.
