Dianne DeFreece

Class of 1971

Twenty three years in the Air Force occupied a good amount of my life. In my spare time I earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, I raised a daughter and I have a private practice in Psychology in Lancaster California. In addition, I am a contracting Psychologist at a State Prison and a County Urgent Care Clinic. My family still reside in Lincoln. My Dad started Jim DeFreece Auto across from the Devanney Sports Center and my sisten now owns it. I and my older sister Karen are the only ones who left Nebraska. I have my parents, lots of nieces, nephews and extended family in Nebraska and really would love to retire there. The winters frighten me. I have been asked to write a book to turn into a script for screen so maybe I could stay home around a fireplace in the winter. I love to travel and am planning to work in Europe and New Zealand for a few years before I retire. My Dad would like Germany and I could work for the Military with PTSD victims.
