3 south siders lost
August 4, 2000 the south side lost 3 bright graduates of 1999. Brian Lane, Danny Selsor, and "Twinkie" Martensen were all killed in a tragic accident just outside of Ankeny by the mix-master. These boys are truly missed by all that knew them. There were hundreds of people at all of their funerals and they will always leave an impact on the south side. We miss you all very much.

Jerry "Bud" Lawless
On Monday, May 4,2009 Jerry Lawless passed away. He had been ill on and off for the past couple of years.
He most recently worked at Wells Fargo. He adored his daughter and was thrilled last year when he became a grandfather to beautiful little girl.

James Ochoa-class of 93
On January 5th, 2009 James Ochoa (class of 1993) passed away. James will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 12 years Janelle, his son Nicholas and his daughter Morgan, he is also survived by his mother Louella Ochoa and sister Melissa all of Des Moines. He was proceeded in death by his father Jaime Ochoa and grandparents.

Shawn Wilden-class of 1990
Saturday, February 14th, 2009 Shawn Robert Wilden (Class of 1990) was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident near his home in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Shawn had served in the United States Army since 1991 and was a staff sergeant at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife Christie, son Dillan and step daughter Samantha of Honolulu.
Funeral services are pending at Richardson Funeral Home in Carlisle.
