Michael Anthony "Spike" Baker, 36, died Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at Iowa Methodist Hospital of natural causes. Funeral services were Saturday April 10, 2004 at Southtown Funeral Home with burial following at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Michael was the general manager of the B-Bops on SE 14th Street. He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed sports of all kinds. Michael was a wonderful father that loved his children more than anything. He is survived by his daughter, Taylor and son, Jonathan of Pleasant Hill; his fiancé, Teri Graves of Des Moines; his mother, Donna Baker of Des Moines; his father, Gary Baker and his wife Sandy of West Des Moines; his two brothers, Garry Baker of Virginia Beach, VA, and Marty Baker of Des Moines; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
