About	Jerilynn “Jerri” (Root) Pitts was born on August 19,1942 to Howard and Fern Root in Spokane, WA. She graduated from Lewis Clark High School in 1960 and graduated with honors from Gonzaga University in 1964. She married Merle Pitts of Denver, CO and lived there until after his death from Alzheimer’s Disease. She then moved to Spokane in 2017. Jerri accepted the Lord while reading through the Bible. She loved the Lord and became a member of the South Hill Bible Church after moving back to Spokane. She was also a member of the USA Navy League, Spokane Council. Jerri passed away peacefully on November 15, 2024, at 3:00 am at the Hospice House of Spokane. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Webb (Mike) of Spokane; nephew, Christopher Webb of Pateros, WA; stepson, Kevin Pitts of Le Mars, IA; stepdaughter, Robyn Stevenson (David) of Wichita, KS. At Jerri’s request, no service will be held. Contributions can be made to either Horizon Hospice (608 E Holland Ave. 99208) or Hospice House of Spokane (367 E 7th Ave 99202). Jerri will be laid to rest at Greenwood Memorial Park in Spokane, WA
