About It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ronald M. Bower, 82, of Spokane, Washington, who left us peacefully on December 14, 2024. Born on May 2, 1942, Ron was a devoted husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many.

Ron enjoyed a remarkable journey through life, earning his diploma from Lewis and Clark High School in 1960. He proudly served his country as a veteran in the United States Navy. After his military service, Ron pursued a degree in business from Washington State University, laying the groundwork for a successful career in banking. He served as Vice President of Loans at both Old National Bank and U.S. Bank, where he was both respected and admired for his expertise.

Throughout his 53-year marriage to his beloved wife, Patricia, Ron found joy in simple moments and remarkable adventures alike. Together, they traveled extensively, manicured their lawn and tended to their garden creating beautiful memories not only for themselves but also with their cherished grandchildren. He enjoyed orchestrating memorable vacations for his family.

Ron was an enthusiastic hockey player who got his start on the frozen pond of Manito Park. He shared this passion with Spokane youth as a referee and a sponsor. Ron embraced life's challenges with a tenacious spirit.

Ron is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia; and their children, Brenda Thompson (Robert Kuharski) and Todd Thompson. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Robin Kuharski Goulette, Samantha Thompson, Forrest Kuharski, and Jenna Thompson. Ron additionally leaves behind his beloved great-grandchildren, Rocco Goulette, Lucky Goulette; and dear sister, Patti Bower.

In his passing, Ron leaves a glorious testament to a life well-lived, filled with rich experiences. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

As we bid farewell to Ronald M. Bower, let us remember him for his kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering dedication to family and friends. May he rest in peace.
