About | Naomi Rhoda Fischbach was born July 19, 1945, and lost a hard fought battle with cancer on November 4, 2000. She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 plus years Max and her loving sons Lance and Rex. Surviving family members include her sisters Joy Barringer and Elaine Waters and brothers Dan Smith, Arvid Smith and David Smith. Surviving special friends include Randi Hagen, Anita Berzins, Sue Rosenberry, Vita Seciwa, Mitsuko Gable and Linda Vokral. Naomi was born in Stockton, CA and moved to Spokane, WA at an early age where she eventually met her husband Max. She lived in the Seattle area for well over 34 years and during this time touched the lives of many. Naomi gave unconditional love to her family and always had a smile and good word for everyone. During her life, she volunteered hundreds of hours to the American Cancer Society and local nursing homes in the area. As founder of Whisker Watchers of Lynnwood, she ran a highly successful pet sitting service for years, until her untimely death. She will be sorely missed by her immediate family and all of those fortunate to have known her. Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, 728 134th St. SW, Suite 101, Everett, WA 98204.
