About | LITSEY Lt Rodney G (Age 60) enterd into rest October 6 2005 in Canada wnile scuba diving He was born January 31 1945 in Spokane to Helen and Earl Litsey. Rodney served in the Marine Corps from 1963-1966 receiving the Purple Heart. He worked for the Spokane Fire Department for 31 years He enjoyed diving, biking, flying and being with family and friends Rodney never met a stranger. He was preceded in death By his mothet and father, stepmother Esther Snyder, stepbrother Roger Witty and brother-in-law Martin Ryan. Rodney is survived by his wife Brenda; daughter Brooke (David) McCollum, Spokane; sons Sean and Jason, San Francisco, CA; grandchildren Caleigh, Madison and Andrew; brother Harold (Judy) Cross, Lake Steilacoom, WA; stepbrother and stepsisters Dale (Robyn) Witty, Spokane, Lorraine (Marvin) Best, Colville, WA, Sylvia (Morrie) Spencer, Bayview, ID, Melissa Danielson, Spokane; nephew Barry (Heather) Cross and niece Beth Cross, Tacoma; mother-in-law Lu Ross, father-in-law Robert Blackburn, brothers-in-law Randy Blackburn and Rodney Johnston; special friends Rick and Jean Gasperino, Galen and Shelly Peterson, Bob and Claudia Trautman, Darin and Joelle Niewert, Kurt Cole and Ron and Joyce Nutt. The family wishes to express their thanks to the Spokane Fire Department and the United States Marine Corps Viewing and Visitation for Rodney will be held on Friday October 14th from 6:00-9:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Chapel.
