About Marcia Jean Caruso
Marcia, the youngest of 5 children and the only daughter of Alven and Velma Johnson, was born in Spokane, Washington on September 16, 1945. An angel on earth, she was called to the Lord on January 3, 2011. Marcia graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in Spokane in 1963. Marcia and her future husband, Frederick John Caruso, fell madly in love in April, 1966, have not been apart since, and married in July, 1969. Their love created a family and she is survived by her loving husband, Fred; daughters, Kristen and Kimberly; 2 wonderful grandchildren, Elise and Kaleb; brothers, Don and wife, Penny (Olympia); Gary and wife, Rose (Atlanta); sister-in-law, Marge Johnson (Spokane); and many nieces and nephews. Marcia touched many lives beyond her family. Her great beauty, love, and tender heart will continue to be an inspiration to all who knew her. Marcia was proud of her Scottish and Norwegian ancestry, taking up the game of golf and delighting in making the Norwegian family recipes given to her. Nana, Mom, Marcia is greatly missed. Funeral is January 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. St. Michael Catholic Church, downtown Olympia.
