About | Berry Ray Davison was born in Prineville, Oregon on January 19th, 1944. Preceded in death by parents; Father, Glenn Davison, Mother, Peggy Standerfer. Berry passed January 26th, 2016, he grew up in Spokane. Berry was married to Kathleen Rae Dierks for 52 and a half loving years. Berry is loving father to daughter Teri and preceded in death by Rex (son-in-law) Becklund (Spokane, WA) son, Duane and wife Shellie Davison (Puyallup, WA), and son, Brett and wife Jessica Davison (Omaha, NE). Three grandchildren, Joshua Becklund, and Brenna and Cody Davison. He is survived by sister Glenda Morehouse (California), brother Ben wife Debi Davison (Oregon), brother Norm wife Minty Davison (California). Berry was loved by eight nieces and nephews, and several great and great, great nieces and nephews. Berry graduated from Lewis and Clark High School, Spokane, WA. He worked for 39 and 1/2 years for Union Pacific Railroad as a Crew Dispatcher. Berry loved to hop in the car and drive, which was termed "Bear Tracking" by friends and family. He was an avid lover of music, dancing and visiting National Parks and Monuments on his motor- cycles. Berry would talk to anyone, and always would introduce himself as "Big Bear". He adopted many people as family, often times people he had just met. Honorary adoptees include; Brad and Kim Potrzba, their children, Harrison, Natalie, Colin, and Jillian, Dave and Denise Crociani, (all from Omaha, NE) and Richard Terzieff (from Spokane, WA) among many others who were loved by Big Bear. He had a real sense of fun and enthusiasm for life. He hugged everybody with Bear Hugs and those closest to him got to know Stubby and Charlie! Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 30th, 2016 at 1 p.m. at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1802 North Raymond, Spokane Valley.
