About	JOHANSSON, Glen Beloved husband, father, uncle, in-law, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2010 after a long illness. The son of Thure and Ruth Johansson, Glen was born in Spokane on February 23, 1943. He attended Jefferson Elementary School and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1961, where he excelled as an athlete. After attending the University of Idaho, Glen settled in San Francisco, where he worked as a computer programmer for Lockheed and Fireman's Fund Insurance. It was there that he met his wife, Jacquie. In 1982, he returned to Spokane, much to his own parent's delight especially since he was accompanied by their first grandchild. While in Spokane, Glen worked for Itronics and W.C. Burrell. He spent the last decade working for the community Colleges of Spokane. Passionate about golf, he enjoyed many years perfecting his game on his favorite courses while in the company of family and friends. Glen was also an avid photographer and a talented card player known to defy the odds at blackjack tables. He also flipped a mean Swedish pancake, frequently feeding the leftovers to his treasured dogs. His greatest gifts were his quick wit, his gentle and kind nature, his loyal and supportive spirit, and his courageous tenacity when facing the challenges of his failing health during his final years. Glen is survived by Jacquie, his wife of 27 years, his son, Jason, 25, and his daughter, Jenna, 22. Never did a more gracious man walk across this earth.
