She fought a valiant three year battle with the disease. Jodi was born in Seattle but spent most of her early life in Spokane, WA. Survived by her husband Doug of Olympia, daughters Wendi Doherty, University Place, WA; Shannon (Tim) Kendig, Renton, WA; Meegan (Chris) Etheridge, Kent, WA; sons Brian (Diane) Pittmon, Beaverton, OR; Brad (Laurie) Pittmon, Tigard, OR. In business as a partner with her husband Doug in Creative Concepts for 30 years and seven years as a partner in Hemisphere Traders, an import company, with husband Doug, daughters Shannon and Meegan and their husbands Tim and Chris. Her buying trips to Thailand became some of her fondest memories. Jodi was a quiet, unassuming, non complaining person with an aptitude for gourment cooking and her home boasted of her flower and landscaping prowess. Those who dined at her table knew they were in for a treat! She was at her best when entertaining her friends and family in the home that she designed and decorated. She was everything a woman should be, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, a good loyal friend, and all around honest hard working person. She was the best! She will be missed by everyone who knew her well! At Jodi's request, there will be no funeral or flowers, she will be cremated and privately interred.
