About PUGH,
Barry A.

Barry was born December 11, 1941 in Spokane, WA to Don and Helen Pugh.
Barry died of cardiac arrest on February 18, 2018, while riding his bike at his favorite beach in Kona, HI. He loved to sit on a log, eat his lunch and watch the kids surf.
He attended Hutton grade school, and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1960.
Barry and his high school sweetheart, Carol Coman, eloped the day after they graduated from Lewis and Clark. They moved to Seattle where Barry attended the University of Washington. He was a member of the first graduating class in Building Technology and Administration that the college of Architecture offered, graduating in 1965.
They returned to Spokane where he worked for H. Halvorson Construction until he and Roger Mooney started Mooney and Pugh Construction in 1979. He retired in 2006 and loved having the time for travel, golf and riding his bike.
Barry loved all children. His family was so important to him and we all have wonderful memories of our fun times together and of all the trips he had with his children and grandchildren.
Barry is survived by his wife, Carol, of 57 years; and his two daughters and their families: Leslie and Matt Emmons and their children, Gus and Katie, Suzanne and Scott Smith and their children, Allie and Sarah; also, his siblings: Arlene Olson, Joanne Marks, Ted Pugh and twin sister Betty Lobdell and her husband Don; and numerous nieces and nephews.
At his request there will be no service.
