About	James Dean Anthony Passed away April 14, 2016 Walnut Creek, California Costco lost a dedicated customer and fan with the passing of Jim Anthony. He left us after nearly a 30 year battle of "you name it, he had it". "Jimmy the Greek" was born in New York and grew up in Spokane, WA. He then moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington, where he played football. He continued his education at Cal State, Berkeley while simultaneously starting his career in the airline business with P.S.A. He was transferred all around southern California before leaving for the far north as Field Operations Manager for Wein Air Alaska in Anchorage. He was responsible for all Wein Cities and remote villages for 8 years. When Wein sold, it was back to Seattle and then a return to the Bay Area to work for the Fed Ex Hub with his beloved airplanes. Jim is survived by his wife, Jo, daughters, Tracey Blackwood, Victoria Gauthier, son-in-law, Jim Gauthier, sister, Elena (Cookie) Sims, and 3 grandchildren whom he adored, Benito Gonzalez, Angelo Blackwood, Tasha Jo Gauthier and his granddog Willow. Our special thanks go to the staff of Hospice of the East Bay in Pleasant Hill and Courtyards at Pine Creek in Concord. A Celebration of Life date to be determined.
