About Me	I am an open minded and spiritual person who strives to always maintain a positive attitude and I greet each new day with grace, dignity, and gratitude. I am a child of God. I've been with my husband for 20 years and recently celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary. I have a daughter and five grandchildren ages almost 20 (b-day in August) to almost 10 (b-day in December). I also have a step-son but have only seen him a few times. I came back to Utah in 1985 after living over seas and in Oregon and California. After managing businesses and working in gastroenterology for over 30 years I opened two online shops, one bridal (Keepsakes by Katherine) and one meditation (Zen Spirit Malas). I also blog at Katherines Corner. All three of these things bring me joy. I have a few health issues, a couple which are severe. But, there’s no need to share that (wink) I am not defined by my health issues. I have fond memories of high school and have always been proud of the fact that I didn’t belong to any one clique. But instead, I had lovely friendships with many people who enjoyed a variety of interests and belonged to many different groups. Some of you may have called me Kathy but I never liked that nickname.
