And, needless to say, I've never gotten to feel what it's like to have a child growing inside of me. But I have felt the joy of motherhood. I've been given the priceless gift of motherhood. It was a journey full of heartache and struggles . More than I care to remember. I may be a mother now but there was a time I longed for children. My heart ached to love my own little ones. My arms ached to hold my babies. I know what it's like to not get a baby when it's all you want! I have been through it. I know it all well. I have not forgotten.
