About Me	I started Transcendental Meditation in 1970 and became a TM teacher in 1971. I received my Ph.D. in English from the University of Iowa in 1992 and joined the faculty of Maharishi International University in 1995, where I became an Associate Professor of Literature and Writing. I retired from teaching full time in 2018, entered grad school at Maharishi International University in 2018, and received my MA in Maharishi Vedic Science in 2019. I have completed the course work for a Ph.D. in Maharishi Vedic Science and am currently working on my dissertation proposal for my Ph.D. topic: "A Comparison of the Mahabharata and Tolkien's Lord of the Rings in Light of Maharishi Vedic Science." Currently, I teach online courses in English and Vedic Science for Maharishi International University.
