| Favorite School Memory | There are several, but one of the more amusing was betting Coach John Platt that I would make a target intermediate hurdle time in the next track meet against 2 or 3 points on an exam that would give me an A- for a 6 weeks average in his Trig/Functins class. He put it to a class vote and everyone agreed to the arrangement. I made my time and got the grade. Another is meeting my prom date on the Senior boat trip on the Potomac. We talked for a long time on the stern of the boat. I didn't really see her again until very shortly before the prom. I was roaming he halls after a track workout and happened across her at her locker, asked whether she had a date yet, she didn't. I took the risk of asking her to go with me and she accepted.
