Ed was a football player and though not a starter got on the field in the 1970 Prep Bowl vs St Rita. He went on later after graduation to have a career and retire from the Chciago Police Department.
Was made aware of his recent passing in early 2026 by a friend/neighbor. No formal obit has been located.
