| About Me | I've been a professional musician (keyboards) since the late 50s, but after getting my music degree I went to Los Angeles City College and got a nursing degree so I could make some real money. Moved to San Francisco in 1966 and worked at various church organist and choral accompanist jobs while also working at UCSF Medical Center for 28 years. Since retirement from UC I've been working as a fabric artist making art quilts and liturgical banner installations. I kept working at church jobs until 2008, and now only do substitute gigs. I married my current husband in 1981. He's also a musician and we've worked together in many choral organizations and churches over the years. We're both crazy cat people and have 24 rescued cats sharing our life. I also enjoy gardening, raising orchids, playing the organ and piano for myself (no more church jobs and accompanying gigs).
