| About Me | Joined the Virginia Beach Police Department in Dec. 1971, as a civilian desk clerk. Sworn in as a police officer in 1973, variety of assignments - patrol, detective (burglary, auto theft, rape/robbery/homicide), SWAT, advanced thru the ranks and appointed Chief of Police in March, 2000.
