The Reunion Committee met last night at Lake Wright in hopes of planning our 45th reunion. We've received a lot of verbal commitments through Facebook, but the reality is we've only received 3 checks from classmates other than the Reunion Committee. In order to sign a contract and reserve our date of October 8th, we must pay a deposit to Lake Wright and commit to no less than 50 attendees. We've decided to extend our deadline on the $25.00 per person REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT until Saturday July 30th to see if we can make this reunion happen. This is the absolute deadline. If you are truly interested in attending, we need a $25.00 per person check made out to Lake Taylor Class of 1971 to the following address:

We feel like at this point that if someone is interested in attending, classmates will seek us out through our Lake Taylor Class of 1971.com web site, the web sites Classmates.com, Reunions and our social media Facebook page. We no longer research classmates and send out mailings because of the expense incurred. If you are still in contact with other classmates, now is the time to get in touch with them and encourage them to attend.
After July 30th, the committee will meet again to see where we stand, and decide whether or not to move forward.

The Reunion Committee has decided not to move forward with our 45th Class Reunion. Being we started a little late in the year, we didn't get the response from classmates that we had hoped for.
For those who sent a check for the deposit, please let us know if you would like us to shred your check or mail it back to you with void written on it.
Please look for a posting in early 2021 on social media and our web site, as we will be starting very early to make our 50th Reunion the biggest and best ever.

After extending the deadline for deposits for our Lake Taylor Class Reunion, we are falling short of Classmates who have sent their Refundable Deposit. In order to sign a Contract with Lake Wright and reserve our space for October 8th, we need at least 50 committed Classmates. We've received 23 deposits thus far. If you plan on attending, please let the Reunion Committee know TODAY, so we can make arrangements to receive your check. Without enough interest, we would be forced to cancel our event.
