Current assignment, Commands a Field Operating Activity (FOA) of the US Army Medical Command and provides leadership, policy and guidance to over 280 civilian and military employees, organized into a staff element and 7 regional contracting offices involved in the execution of a contracting program valued in excess of $2.0 billion annually across 18 time zones. Serves as the U.S. Army Medical Command’s Principal Assistant Responsible for Contracting (PARC) and the Principal Staff Advisor for procurement to the Office of The Surgeon General, U.S. Army. Provides mission oversight, develop internal controls, ensure compliance with federal laws and military regulations, resolve contracting problems, and monitor compliance with socioeconomic programs. Formulates and executes an operating budget of $24 million, provide administrative and logistics support for subordinate activities.
