Commissioned 1979 serving in Guam, North Dakota, Osan and Suwon ABs, Nevada, Texas and Saudi Arabia serving as Executive Support Officer, Hq Sq Sect Commander and Executive Officer in joint assignment at USMTM, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Enlisted in 1971; commissioned in 1981. Served on the USS Nimitz twice, and on the USS George Washington. Was also stationed at NAS Dallas, NATTC Memphis, NAS New Orleans, NAS Kingsville, NAS Patuxent River, MD, and FAA Headquarters, Washington, DC. Retired in 1997 as a Lt. Commander.
