Service April 6, 1964 to March 30 1967. After boot camp and AIT sent to Bavaria, Germany.. Field Artillery. Called to Vietnam November 1966 with 199th Light Infantry Brigade. Served as Tech 5 E5 Fire Direction Control. Base camp Long Binh. Missions all across Mecong delta. First air cav was our ride. Accompanied by 82nd airborne, 1st of the 25th, and Big Red 1. Very proud of my service and the heroes I saw fight and sometimes die there.
