Retired in 1978 after 20 years+ in the Air Force. I went to school once at Keesler AFB, MS, twice at Lowry AFB, CO. Permanent assignments were Rhein Main AB, Germany 4 years, McConnell AFB, KS 3 years, Cam Rahn Bay, Viet Nam 1 year, Grissom AFB, IN 1 year, RAF Upper Heyford, England 6 years and Bitburg AB, Germany 2 years.

I participated in the first Gulf War. My last duty station was Fort Lee, VA and was assigned to the Combined Arms Support Command. I currently reside in Hopewell, VA with my wife, Patricia.

Sawyer AFB, MI, Shemya AB, AK, RAF Upper Heyford, UK, Incirlik AB, TU, Minot AFB, ND, Eglin AFB, FL, Ramstein AB, GE, Tyndall AFB, FL and Scott AFB, IL. After retirement, I became a Department of the Air Force Civilian at Scott AFB.

And now Fort Sam Houston since 2003 as Chief of Cardiology Service. Served tour in OIF, at IBN Sina, 86th Combat Support Hospital, and Backfilled Fort Hood Nov 2009 for shooting.

Served on the Aircraft Carrier USS CORAL SEA CVA-43. Was on 2 tours of duty off the coast of Vietnam Nam with our ship providing Air Support for the our men,women,and allies fighting against the North Vietnamese. I was in the ship's Division that fired the big guns on the ship. We,had 5" 54 Caliber guns. We fired 70lb Projectiles (Bullets) with 70 pounds of Black Powder. And could fire them accurately to 16 miles away with full range being about 28 miles. You could say we had a blast!

Retired from US Navy in 1975 as a Master Chief Petty Officer (E-9). Served for 16 years on destroyers/cruisers and five years ahaore in Navy training commands. Specialty was Sonar Technician. Tours in Vietnam in 1968-69. Duty stations from Key West to Seattle, from Bath Maine to San Diego, and various places in between. Only part of world not visited was northern Europe.
