Charles Wood Class of 1961
Air Force, 20+ Years Enlisted 1964. Commissioned 1968. Earned BA, MA, MAPA, and 2 ABDs while on active duty. Covered Vietnam War as information officer. Served in NATO and Strategic Air Command in closing days of Cold War. Assistant Professor in communication at Defense Information School and US Air Force Academy where he also served as chairman of Military Studies Dept. Editor/senior author for military textbook used by 15 nations. Senior advisor in public affairs to five four-star generals and admirals. NATO spokesman in Southern Europe. Public affairs manager for activation of US Space Command and US Strategic Command. Strategic planner for first Gulf War, first reduction of US nuclear weapons, and inactivation of Strategic Air Command, most powerful military force in nation's history.
David Hale Class of 1991
Army, 11 Years I started my career as a Parachute Rigger for the 82nd ABN DIV. From there I became a Informations Systems Technician and have served at Fort Sill, Fort Meade, and Fort Leavenworth since that time, consecutively.
Douglas Rogers (Cushman) Class of 1965
Navy, 4 Years Dropped out of school,1964, joined the U S Navy 1965 through 1968. Served on the USS Chowanoc ATF-100, and USS Tawakoni ATF-114, Served on two "WestPac" tours. Visited Hawaii, Japan, Hong Kong, Guam, Iwakuni, The Phillpines and Viet Nam.

Air Force, 20+ Years avionics, 6 tears in special ops(classified) 2years in recon.when i was in gulf in 91 served in korea twice and okinawa i have about 1500 hours fling with hh-53 helos and wc-135 on constant gloob each 1/4 year where we3 would fly to cifferent locations around the world

Navy, 20+ Years Retired in with 22 years service in the United States Navy. Retired as a Senior Chief (E-8) and saw combat as a Corpsman with the Marines in the following: Vietnam (1972). Beirut (1983 - BLT Bombing). Desert Shield/Storm (1990). Retired in November 1991.

Marine Corps, 15 Years served in first gulf war,with 1st bn 1st marines Bco.And served 9 months in somalia with 1st bn 9th marines (the walking dead) .Got out of the suck in 1995.
