Class of 1984
Air Force, 23 Years
I served from 1984 until 2007. I after completing basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio TX, I was selected to be a Military Policeman and was stationed at Kadena Air Base on Okinawa Japan for 3 years. I was reassigned to Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City La. After 11 years in the Air Force i was reclassified in the Personnel career field. I was reassigned to Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio TX for 5 years. I was then selected and reassigned to Texas A&M university in College Station TX to teach ROTC for 5 years. I was then reasigned to Baksdale AFB in Bossier City LA where I retired March 2007. I was deployed to numerous countries on special assignments to include Fairford AB Royal AF in England, Rhein Main AB GE, Incirlik AB Turkey, Clark AB Philippines, Kunsan AB South Korea, Aviano AB Italy, Yokota AB Japan, Elmendorf AFB Alaska, Dyess AFB TX, Sheppard AFB TX, Malmstrom AFB MT, and Ellsworth AFB SD.
