Following graduation, Ron attended CBC and then transferred to WSU graduating with a BA in Humanities, where he was active with Campus Crusade for Christ. He married and had three children and lived in Vancouver WA until they divorced in 1979. In 1985, Ron remarried and moved to Hillsboro Oregon, where he worked as an electronics technician until he change jobs and worked as a transportation coordinator/center assistant for the Head Start Program at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham OR, until he retired in 2018 and moved to Ocean Shores, WA. Ron and wife Mary were passionate about Golden Retrievers, starting a business “Mary Market’s Sundancin’ Goldens”. Throughout his adult life, family reported that his relationship with God “was the most important aspect of his life…” In later years, Ron had serious health issues that resulted in heart surgery with complications in July 2024. He was discharged to a care home for recovery. Tragically, he was in an auto accident the day after returning home to Ocean Shores and died of cardiac failure at the scene on September 5, 2024.
